HEY NOW!

We are the artist formerly known as, Asian Pop Addict.

Yes, we suck! We know it!!! We haven't done a show in over a year and a half!!!! Crazy!

The hiatus lasted longer than expected for numerous reasons. But we'll get into that later on.

For now...we need your help!

We're looking into revamping the show a little bit. The girls and I have been thinking, "How do we make the shows shorter?", #1 answer on the board is....stop yammering so damn much! Well....that's impossible. Once we start talking we can't stop! Lol. But we have been thinking about cutting the music out of the shows. With youtube and every other portal on the interwebs for you to access music, there's really no need for us to have music breaks. We'll play snippets of songs that caught our attention for whatever reason and talk about them but I think a good chunk of the load of our shows tend to be the music breaks.

Since you all will be the ones listening, what do you think? Good idea or naw?

Feel free to express what items you would like for us to keep and get rid of when we re-launch APOPA.

Yes yes yes...we know....we should have done this show already. 

So the reason why we haven't done our anniversary show is because we've hit a little bump in the road with our "studio". Tech issues, tech issues, & more tech issues. We can't wait any longer to do a show, so come this Wednesday, whether in the new or old studio, we're going to do our anniversary show! 

As we usually do for special occasions, we're going to ustream it! So THIS WEDNESDAY (July 25th)  at around 8pm EST. we will be broadcasting live!!!! Spread the word, get involved in the fuckery!

Alright so you might be wondering "WTF is this week's show??" well...I have some bad news, kinda sorta. The girls and I have decided that we will not be doing a show this week. The reason being is we are going to be doing a SUPER APOPA radioathon to help raise awareness & money for Haiti. So you might be wondering when and what time? Well this Saturday, January 30th at 8pm ET, the girls and I will be locking ourselves in the studio for SIX HOURS!!! That's right SIX hours!!! It's all for a great cause. Unfortunately as much as we really wanted to stream the show online we can't due to tech issues BUT it will be recorded and will be uploaded the following day.

As most of you who've listened to this week's show know, next week will be an all male request special. In order to celebrate the onslaught of the return of men in the K-Pop scene, which started with the return of G Dragon and Taegoon, we've decided to make this mindless perverted thread, because you know, that's how we do.

Some people have been asking as to whether the shows are available for download on iTunes and the answer is YES! BUT!!! There’s a catch. For some reason the iTunes store will not display our podcast in their store because of copyright issues with the music we play. Well whatever! So there is a way to still download the shows without looking for it in the store. Here is the step by step on how you can subscribe via your iTunes application. Step #1 Go into your iTunes browser and click on “Advanced”

 Step #2 A little window will pop up, enter the following address into that box http://cyncity.libsyn.com/rss  make sure you enter it exactly that way and hit ok.

 Step #3 Once you’ve done that then all the previous APOPA shows will start to download into your iTunes browser. Then every Monday when we say that a new show is posted you can come back here and hit refresh and the new show will download.
